Chapter 2

Francis wanted to go to another world. However, in 2050, people still didn’t get any elevator to bring people to go to another world. Francis could only dream her idea.

After having dinner, Simon was talking to Kimmy about something that would happen in the future. He told Kimmy that people could travel anywhere with their brain only, without the body. Simon and Kimmy were excited when talking about this, but Francis thought that it was non-sense, if people didn’t need to use their body, why did they live in the world?
Francis now noticed that she wasn’t quite sure whether the decision to marry to Simon is right or not. They knew about each other though the net, not by natural. Francis thought that this was the main idea why they now thought that they didn’t know each other very well. Francis wanted to find a cigarette, but she had used them up already.
“Simon, I go out to buy cigarettes.” After she told Simon, Francis went out to take the car and drive it.

Francis didn’t really just go out to buy cigarettes, she also needed some fresh air. Francis thought about her idea to go to another world as she was driving. Suddenly, a crash happened. Francis’ car bombed into a big stone. Francis eventually lost her consciousness.

When Francis woke up, she found that the air was very fresh. She opened her eyes. Where was she? She was lying on a bed in a small but beautiful room. She wanted to get up, but she couldn’t.
“Ache!” Francis felt that her head was very painful.
Suddenly, the door opened. “You wake up?” Asked a beautiful young man but wearing an ugly old-styled clothes.
“Who are you?” Asked the frightened Francis.
“Oh, I am called Benjamin. I saw you lying beside the large stone and was hurt. I brought you back here. This is my house.” Said the young man who called himself Benjamin.
“Thank you for saving me, but I must go back to my house……” Francis didn’t finish when Benjamin interpreted.
“No, you cannot go now, you must stay here to get well.” Said Benjamin.
“Then I should tell my family about this.” Said Francis. She held up her hand, oh! Where was her talker?
“Do you need a telephone?” Asked Benjamin.
Francis was very surprised. She remembered that she had put on her talker before she left home.
“Hey, you need one?” Asked Benjamin again.
Francis now noticed Benjamin. “What? A telephone?” Asked Francis.
“You need one?” Asked Benjamin.
“What’s a telephone?” Asked Francis.
“You mean you don’t know what’s telephone?” Benjamin was very surprised with Francis’ answer.
“What’s that?” Asked Francis again. “By the way, can you see my talker?”
“What is talker?” This time, Benjamin didn’t know what Francis was asking.
“The one to phone home, I need it to tell my family about this……” When Francis said this, she could see the calendar beside her bed, it was 2000, 50 years earlier than when she had the car accident. “Oh, my God!” said Francis as she lost her consciousness again......
