“Mother, can you just try not to bother me every day?” Said Francis with disgust.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Francis, but I really want to see you and the child.” Said her mother, Carol.
“You mean that? You come here to see me and the child?”
“Oh, Francis, don’t be like that. I know you think that I am so troublesome. However, I love you and so I come to see you, please, let me stay here for only a while.”
“Mum, don’t scold Grandma, she just want to see us.” said Francis’ child Kimmy.
“Kimmy, here’s no chance for you to say anything. OK?” Said Francis angrily.
“Don’t be so rude to Kimmy, I go now.” Said Carol lastly.
“Oh, what’s a good thing! Bye then.” Said Francis, without looking at Carol.
“Bye, Grandma.” Said little Kimmy.
“Bye Kimmy, Bye Francis.” There she went.
“Hey Mum, why you don’t like Grandma?” Said Kimmy after Carol had gone.
“Now Kimmy, can you just not to ask those silly questions? I think that you haven’t finish your homework, go and finish them NOW!” Said Francis.

“Ding Dong, Ding Dong!” The bell rang.
“Hello, Simon.” Said Francis as her husband came in.
“Hello, Francis. I saw you mother just down there. But I think that she’s a bit upset. You drove her away again?” Asked Simon.
“Don’t say that I ‘drive’ her away, I just ask her to go back home.” Said Francis.
“Don’t you think that you are too rude to your mother? She’s not your maid, but your mother!” Said Simon.
“OK, but don’t you think that she always come here for just seeing me and Kimmy? That’s really bother me!” Said Francis.
“I don’t want to argue with you about this. Where’s Kimmy?” Said Simon.
“He’s in his own room. Oh yes, your child is very rude to me today. Go and speak to him!” Said Francis angrily.
“OK, I am going to talk to him. Ah yeah, he’s your son too. Don’t say ‘your child’.” Said Simon as he went to Kimmy’s room. He was tired to talk to Francis anymore.
“Everyone think that I am to rude. I am just doing good for them. Am I wrong?” Francis asked herself after Simon had gone to Kimmy’s room. “If I can go to another world, how’s that good!”

Francis hated her mother to visit her every day. She thought that her mother was crazy. However, her mother did this because she loved Francis. Francis’ father left them when she was very small. Her mother brought her up herself and led a very hard life. So her mother loved her very much. Because of her father, Francis did not have much hankering with her marriage.
In addition, Francis hated her mother because she didn’t tell her much about her childhood. Carol said that it was a secret and didn’t want to tell Francis. That’s why Francis thought that her mother didn’t tell her everything. However, Carol’s childhood was something that Francis never thought about......
